A hybrid of French & Punjabi cuisine
Located in the heart of Macclesfield town centre, FrenJabi offers a hybrid of French & Punjabi cuisine offering a stylish and exclusive dining experience.
We specialise in French and Punjabi food. An irresistible combination of French cooking techniques, complemented with a light sprinkling of Punjabi spices.
The restaurant is based in a listed building and boasts a calm, contemporary style with an industrial looking bar.
You’re welcome to enjoy a cocktail in our bar area, which has a relaxing, botanical feel or enjoy one of our signature dishes in the restaurant. See the a la carte menu.
The concept evolved from the owners love for French cuisine and experience of Punjabi dining culture.

After reading reviews from other diners we thought we’d give it a try. As vegetarians there was only one main option on the menu and only when I asked was... read more I told about a mushroom en croute or a veg curry. I did look at a menu online beforehand but it must’ve been out of date.
My husband enjoyed the tharka dhal but the veg curry was a very boring plate of carrots, peas, potatoes and onion in a curry sauce.Safarinut68
5/08/2022This was our first visit to Frenjabi but won't be our last. The menu was imaginative and the food was amazing. We couldn't fault the service either.

3/20/2022The food itself was flavoursome, however the portion sizes were insanely small for an adult.
The most awful thing to happen was when one of our party queried with... read more the head waiter and the chef about portions, we had opposite excuses from both of them and when this was challenged we were belittled.
I have never experienced such intimidation from a restaurant before and as such would never go back. With other fantastic restaurants available nearby I cannot recommend going here to be treated in such an appalling manner.
My recommendation would be to try Elaf Lebanese Restaurant instead.jods27
